Chairman   Mr Nigel Dutson chairman@ncafctrust.org

The two big passions in Nigel's life is music and Newport County. I love all sorts of music but the Clash changed my life. First saw the County in 1967 when my dad took me as a 9 year old. We went together for many years and one of his last ever outtings was to watch us win in the Tim Harris promotion season.

Nigel works for a transport firm in Bristol and has been known to fit business trips around Newport County away trips. Favourite County player. Tony Buck inspired me to become a fan and Carl Dale showed me that you can still have class in the Conference.

Favourite memory. Being asked if I wanted to spend a day in hospitality and then finding that it was at the game that we got promotion and there was a free bar! Happy Daze!

Favourite game. There have been many, but watching Newport lift the FAW premier cup is up near the top Favourite away trip. Enjoyed the Cambridge  trip with the Mixed Grill, Magners and Gary Fiskin two from the top drawer.

Hopes for the future.  League football. It's what it says on the tin.

Vice Chairman   Mr Tony Pring tony@ncafctrust.org

Born in Newport in 1965, first game believed to have been against one of the Bradford teams between 65 and 67 and has followed the County ever since.A company director of Jude Security Ltd since 2002. Best games following the County... Shrewsbury welsh cup win,  Carl Zeiss Jena away, West Ham home and more recently Blackpool away.Best memories.. away days on the train..started back in the days of student rail cards and still going on...Worst memories.. Not remembering some of the trips...The original County going bust....

Treasurer   Mrs Kay Saunders   kay@ncafctrust.org

Secretary  Mr John Williams  john@ncafctrust.org

I have supported Newport County since 1952, and have fond memories of trips to London to see County play Spurs in the FA Cup, Burnley, Southampton, and more recently Blackpool were also trips to remember.

On the home front I have witnessed County beat West Ham, Sheffield Wednesday, and claim a very creditable draw with Everton, along with losses against Man City, and Arsenal.

During my three year spell as County Chairman, I was lucky enough to experience the thrill of promotion, along with being responsible for agreement by the council to upgrade the stadium to conference standard.

Following an idea by Rob Santwris, I became the instigator of the 200 club, and was also the original Chairman of the Amber Army Trust.

I am keen to become a part of a young group of individuals who are pushing to get fans involved in the running of their football club.

I am a local business man who has traded successfully for over twenty five years, I have agreed to be acting secretary for the group leading to a full AGM in March 2009.

Membership Secretary Ms Tina Muir  tina@ncafctrust.org

Tina is a true Newport County Widow, being the long suffering partner of Tony "the tash" Pring. Not only does Tina have to put up with Tony's County habit she has to work with him at Jude Security. Tina has workd hard over recent weeks pulling together all of the membership details and inputting them into the on-line Data Base

Website Manager                  Mr David Roberts dave@ncafctrust.org

Born in Newport, owns Icon Computer Services on Malpas Road. Started following the county at age of 8. Favourite all time players are the gods Aldridge & Tynan. Best ever home game, beating Cardiff City at home on easter Monday to go top of the old Third Division. Worst ever moment seeing the Ironsides fold and going to see them auction our memorys for virtually nothing.

Communication Manager    Mr Kevin Morris kevin@ncafctrust.org

First County game was Dorchester home 3 years ago and we lost 2-0. There was a guy Draycott up front and he was getting some terrible stick. Saying that they were all getting it.
I first had contact with Duncan Jardine when I met him with some programmes from our game against FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Cup. We started talking about County and he suggested I speak to a guy named Santwris..I was also in the middle of a move to Acorn Recruitment and Matt Southall invited me to have a look how bad we were and if I could get hold of a few players. I was still with Carmarthen Town as General Manager when I met with Rob and we hit it off straight away with his passion for the club. I managed to persuade Tony Pennock and Craig Hughes to the club and Beads also come in around the same time
There have been some ups and downs but some games that stand out are Histon 5-1 Cardiff City Premier Cup win at Ninian Park, Salisbury home to win 4-3, the atmosphere created by our fans at Bath when we drew 1-1 and the reaction to when we were paired with Swansea City in the FA Cup.
Games to forget were mainly at the end of last season and several this season while the end of season trip to Marbella was hard work due to the fact that Beads had just been sacked, several players were being shown the door and myself and Rob had to spend 4 days with everyone fending off questions of who was going to be the next manager. It was difficult for us but we really felt for Beads and Rob will tell you that Searly, Jules, Jarman etc were great company despite the circumstances we found ourselves in.
(The train journeys to Farnborough, Windsor, Dorchester , Sutton etc are also all up there with the best!)

Fund Raising Committee     Mr Rob Santwris  rob@ncafctrust.org

Rob Santwris age 36 :). I started following the county in the early 70's and was hooked straight away.

Best moments Walsall away, Darlington away (our last ever away league game) and Blackpool away.

Mainly got involved after becoming friends with the then chairman John Williams and manager Tim Harris.

My two claims to fame were coming up with the idea for Spytty the dog and the idea to raise 40k to start the social club.

Was on the board for a few years and enjoyed it but not a suit/ prawn sandwich man more
a fleece and pint man. I just want to help and get the club back smiling again, the last few months have been hard work and who needs a hobby like that.

Its 20 years since we reformed and to be honest its a crying shame were not higher up the league or on a sounder footing, its time for us and the club to put the infrastructure in place to achieve this not just s***t or bust like most seasons

Mr Andrew Power  andrew@ncafctrust.org

Andrew Power ( Stavros ) age 45, 1st County match in 1973, followed the County religiously since our victory over West Ham Utd ( apart from the time when we were exiled, ashamed to say that I didn’t attend too many games at Morton in the Marsh or Gloucester).

Travelled all over the UK watching the County & loved every minute, favourite games (the obvious) Walsall & Shrewsbury, Blackpool away the 1st time when we beat them 4-2, worst Sunderland away in the FA cup due to the fact we left there by the coach driver (well in the middle of nowhere actually) Been a season ticket holder for the past few years & dream every day about being back in the football league & visiting the likes of Rochdale & Plymouth again.

Supporters Forum Co-Ordinator  Mark Vickery mark@ncafctrust.org

I first went to Somerton Park in 1974 and was introduced to the County by my late father. I was gutted for him when he died in 1980 and missed the promotion game at Walsall and the Carl Zeiss Jena matches after watching them struggle for many years. My burning ambition is to see County back in the league as a town the size of Newport should really have a football league club. I work at Lloyds Group Insurance based in Newport and spend a lot my free time either watching County or other non-league matches. I have a ‘C’ coaching licence and hope to further my qualifications in the future whilst coaching at Caerleon U11’s. Favourite all time County player would be Tommy Tynan and current player is Craig Reid.
