It was bad start to the day as the game was delayed by 45 minutes as the team found themselves stuck in terrible traffic en route to St James Park but come the final whistle and the boys had dragged themselves to within 3 points of safety thanks to a wondergoal from Tom Owen-Evans who described the goal as “one of the best of my life”.

Whilst McFadden & Whitehead’s “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” played from The Exiles dressing room, the gaffer told the press that there was still a huge job to be done to stay in the league. Read Michael Flynn’s thoughts here.
