Our Homecoming - All You Need To Know

Tomorrow's match is going to be action packed in what is our first home game in 12 games, we cannot wait!

It has been a busy few weeks, this email takes you through some of the stories that have happened recently around the club.

Find out everything you need to know about what has happened in the run up to tomorrow's homecoming match and what exactly is going on tomorrow, below.

Everybody's Security Is Most Important.

Three points isn't the only priority on tomorrow. Making sure everyone goes home safe is the most important result.

Newport County AFC and WRU Gwent Stadium have been working closely with the police and the EFL, over the summer, to review security at Rodney Parade. Now we are asking you to do your bit.
Here's a quick reminder of what you can do to help keep yourself and others safe:

Arrive early, allowing more time for security checks
Minimise what you carry, fewer bag searches will speed up entry to the ground
Be vigilant at all times and if you see anything suspicious, tell a steward right away

A BIG thank-you...

All the players, staff, and the Board of Directors would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the supporters who've followed the team to these 5 away games on the bounce and travelled those 2,000 miles.

With pre-season, the team has now played 12 matches away from home and many of you have been right at our side every step of the way.

View a thank-you video featuring the players here.

To celebrate our homecoming on the 26th August 2017, we’re holding a whole host of family activities ahead of kick off. Make sure you arrive early to enjoy everything we’ve got taking place!

This includes ...We Fight Any Claim Marquee – Fan Zone

Open midday. Closes up to two hours after kick off.  It will also be open throughout the match.

Outdoor Kids Zone
Begins 1pm. Finishes 2.45pm

We will have a number of kids’ activities taking place on the grass area at Rodney Parade including bouncy castles, face painting and (weather permitting) an inflatable slide!

PLUS, much, much more!

We welcomed Padraig Amond from Hartlepool United for an undisclosed fee the day after our Carabao Cup clash against Leeds United.

Padraig joins the Exiles in time for Saturday’s homecoming match at Rodney Parade vs Chesterfield FC.  The 29-year-old has a fantastic record in league two securing an impressive 45 goals in his previous 90 games.
