Easter at Rodney Parade
There’s no better place to spend Good Friday than Rodney Parade! The Exiles will look to build on an excellent result in Exeter and take all 3 points as they come up against mid-table Yeovil Town FC in Friday’s match. If results go their way elsewhere in the league, it could be the day that the Exiles claw their way out of the relegation zone!
Post-Match| Exeter City FC vs Newport County AFC
It was bad start to the day as the game was delayed by 45 minutes as the team found themselves stuck in terrible traffic en route to St James Park but come the final whistle and the boys had dragged themselves to within 3 points of safety thanks to a wondergoal from Tom Owen-Evans who described the goal as “one of the best of my life”.
Whilst McFadden & Whitehead’s “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now” played from The Exiles dressing room, the gaffer told the press that there was still a huge job to be done to stay in the league. Read Michael Flynn’s thoughts here.
