Weekly News - 16th November 2015

This is the fifth of our weekly news communications. Sorry it is a little later than normal and hope you all enjoy it

Thank you - Benefits package launch

Thank you to all those who attended the Benefits package launch on Thursday.

All related documentation can now be found on our new trust website. Here you will be able to find all you need to join the scheme and contribute to the financial well being of the club. This is a key part of our fundraising so please have a look and if you are able to assist it would be appreciated.

There is a video of the launch on the club website and if you do have any questions then please feel free to email us at benefits@ncafctrust.org

In addition to the launch we were fortunate to be joined by the management team where John, Warren and Flynny answered questions from supporters. This was well received and gave an excellent insight into the way the management team operate. Our thanks to the team for taking the time to engage and moreso answer the questions in such a candid manner.

It was a great evening and something we are planning to repeat.

For those that were unable to attend the video of the q and a session can be found on the trust and club website.

New Trust website

As mentioned above our new website is now live. The site has been completely rebuilt from scratch and now incorporates the membership database. The previous set up had two separate systems that required manual data input and was therefore very labour intensive.

The new system provides a high degree of email automation for the membership renewals process and new membership sign up. Each member now has their own account created where they can update their own profiles, renew membership and see exclusive content in the future.

To get login details just pop in your email address on the" forgot password page". You will then be emailed a random password. This can then be changed to one of your own choice.

Additional pages have been provided for our supporters groups The Smile Council, Supporters Club, County Choir and DSA. Each group will be able to populate these pages with their own content going forward.

The main method of collecting membership payments and donations is now through GoCardless which provides a secure and cost effective way (50% cheaper than PayPal) of setting up Direct debts.

A big thank you Salvatore Scarpato who has given up a huge amount of his time to build the site for the Trust. A great example of how a volunteer with specialist skills can assist.

Plan - Football league Submission

We have now answered all the supplementary questions asked by the Football league and now await the outcome of our submission. As relayed we intend to share the highlights of the submission when we have the first of our open meetings at the end of the month.

Match day tickets - print at home

Following the launch of the student ticket prices, the club has re-introduced the facility of printing match day tickets at home.

There are a number of benefits to using this facility:

  • No queuing to buy tickets
  • Not being restricted by the opening hours of the ticket office
  • ability to go straight to the turnstiles on match day to gain entry

To use this facility you need to purchase tickets online through the club website. When you reach “ order overview” you will be given an option to print at home. If you then choose this option and then proceed to payment.

Fan engagement

Next week will see the first of a series of survey’s being launched using survey monkey. The aim to is get feedback on a number of areas relating to fan engagement. Please look out for this on our new trust website.

We will also use our normal channels of communication to notify members when this has been launched.
