REMINDER: Open Meeting of Newport County AFC Supporters – TONIGHT
Please be reminded at the Club will be holding an open meeting tonight (Thursday 10th August) at Rodney Parade from 7.00 p.m.
This follows-up the first meeting which was held on the back of the Club AGM in late June, and our earlier meeting of the Supporters Trust membership held in mid-June.
The meeting is open to all supporters and not only Trust members – we want to make the meeting inclusive and use it as a platform to re-promote the Trust and secure new members.
At the meeting we will update on the progress of securing new investment in the club, and what this could mean for the Trust as the current owners. Should we get to the point of having a new and recommendable investor model for the club ‘on the table’ it will only be the Trust members who will have a vote in a Special General Meeting.
We will also set out what supporters can do to help support the club now and through the season.
We are not able to offer an on-line facility for those who cannot attend in person. We know that this will disappoint some supporters. We will make the slides which will be presented on the night, and a short report of the meeting, available to all Trust members.
