Newport County AFC AGM

Last night (19/01/2017), Newport County AFC held their AGM in the Bisley Suite at Rodney Parade.

The event opened with a speech from the manager, Graham Westley, who set out his plans for the club before the Trust Members and Shareholders voted on the following issues:

PASSED: To receive and adopt the annual report & financial statement for year ended 31 August 2016

PASSED: To authorise the Trustees to appoint auditors and fix their remuneration.

PASSED: To receive and adopt the Annual Report and Financial Statement for the year ended 30 June 2016.

PASSED: To authorise the Directors to appoint auditors and fix their remuneration.

PASSED: To authorise Directors to allot shares for cash dispending with S.561 Companies Act 2006 preemption procedures such authority to remain in force for the period expiring at the next AGM.

PASSED: To change the company name from Newport County ltd to Newport County AFC ltd.

PASSED: To receive and adopt the annual report & financial statement for year ended 31 August 2016
