TRUST WEEKLY NEWS - 23rd November 2015

This is the sixth of our weekly news communications. Hope you enjoy it.

Benefits and rewards package

Thank you to those who have already signed up to the benefits and reward scheme. We are pleased with the initial adoption rates. The success of this scheme is key to the future sustainability of our Club and we are extremely grateful for your continued support and commitment.

We are determined to ensure there are significant benefits associated with the Rewards and Benefits Scheme which will ensure members can obtain savings with local businesses by using their discount card (currently being produced to distribute in early December). We are therefore pleased to announce that members will be able to obtain a 10% reduction at the impressive Le Bistrot Pierre in Friars Walk on match days from next month. As a result supporters can not only experience an excellent match day experience in Newport but also save money too!

For more information on the scheme please visit the Trust website or send an email to benefits@ncafctrust.org

Fan engagement  - Survey

This is now live and there is a link on the trust and club websites.

In addition a link is now on the message board.

Please have a look and complete as your feedback is important to us.

We aim to undertake a number of these throughout the season and will share the results with you, as well as what action we will take as a result of the feedback.

Trust Open Meeting - 27th November 2015

We are due to hold the first of our regular open meetings for Trust Members this week.

The meeting will be held in Rodney Hall and the bar will be open. The event will start at 19.30 and last for around an hour and a half.

We intend to cover a range of topics at the meeting but some of the headlines will be:

  • Football League submission
  • Financial position
  • Update on 90 day plan
  • Previous Management team

There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions and, as always, if we can answer them we will do so.

Date for your dairy

Newport County AFC Carol Service will be held on Thursday 10th December at 7pm at St John’s Church, Maindee. There will be readings by players, directors, management and supporters.

As usual, the City of Newport Male Choir and Eveswell School Choir will be in attendance.

The service will be led by Club Chaplain, Rev Keith Beardmore.

Communication

We are aware that a number of members have not been receiving newsletters and are having problems gaining access to their on line memberships via the new website. We have made a number of tweaks this week and hopefully this has resolved the issue.  However if you ( or anyone you know) are still having difficulties then please make contact by emailing info@ncafctrust.org

Thank you for the continued support.
